Larry
A. Davis, Chairman
Larry Davis is the founder and chairman of
Tech Valley Communications, the first Albany-based Competitive
Local Exchange Carrier.Mr. Davis has
more than 20 years experience in the telecommunications and
software industries.
Prior to forming Tech Valley Communications,
he was founder and president of CommSoft, a $20 million local
company that provides software to telecommunications companies.
In 1999, he sold CommSoft to Billing Concepts, a publicly
traded communications software company based in San Antonio,
Texas. He also served as senior vice president and director
of Billing Concepts. In February 2001, Mr. Davis repurchased
CommSoft.
He is both and investor and advisor to many
local high-tech companies. Mr. Davis is an alumnus of the
University at Albany.
James
M. Reynolds, President
James
Reynolds is President of Tech Valley Communications. Prior
to this
he was president of Mid-Hudson Communications
which was a company he helped to develop and merge with Tech
Valley Communications in August 2002. . In addition Mr. Reynolds
is president of Mid-Hudson Telecommunications Group which
includes Mid-Hudson Cablevision, Mid-Hudson Media, Mid-Hudson
Online and Mid-Hudson Fiber. All of these companies are related
and provide a broad array of Telecommunication services from
Cable Television to High Speed Data delivery with Cable Modems.
In addition, Mid-Hudson Media provides Video Production Print & Web
Design services as well as cable television advertising while
Mid-Hudson Fiber provides construction services building
Fiber-Optic Infrastructure for all operating companies.
Mid-
Hudson Cablevision was founded in 1971 and Mr. Reynolds
has been involved in various capacities with the company
from its inception. Mr. Reynolds holds a Bachelors Degree
from Ohio Wesleyan University.
Kevin
O’Connor, Chief Executive Officer
Kevin O’Connor is
the Chief Executive Officer of Tech Valley Communications,
a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier located in downtown Albany,
providing telecommunications services to businesses and residents
throughout the Tech Valley region of New York State. Mr. O’Connor,
a co-founder of Tech Valley Communications, joined the company
as the CEO in July 2000.
From 1992 to
2000, Mr. O’Connor served
as the President of the Center for Economic Growth, a business
and government supported economic development organization
providing managerial and technical assistance to small and
medium-sized businesses. Prior to that Mr. O’Connor
worked in New York State Government in various capacities
from 1980 to 1992, which included regulatory and staff assignments
in the Department of Health, Division of Budget, Governor’s
Office and the Department of Economic Development.
Mr.
O’Connor holds a Bachelors and Masters
degree from the State University of New York at Brockport.
